Ospina, Podolski, Campbell, Flamini, Jenkinson and Sanogo are all being sold as per reports. Well Podolski already gone.
I liked Podolski but for some reason Wenger never did. Hardly played him. His finishing was amazing. I hope him luck
Campbell I always thought had potential. But he will find it hard to push out Sanchez.
Flamini has been a good player for us on both occasions. He did well when he resigned for us but now he is getting slower and reckless.
Feel sorry for Jenkinson, a good player. Was annoyed when we loaned him out last season but then Bellerin popped his head up. Doing well for West Ham hope he stays there and get appreciated
Sanogo just doesn't know how to score, great movement and looks the part but then he fluffs. Pity had potential
Ospina is the only one I am miffed about. Obviously he is hurt by Cech arriving and must be the one instigating the move. Pity as him and Cech would be such a great 1 and 2 Goalkeepers. He is better the Shez.
But least we are selling players that we no longer required. With Diaby already gone I think its a good clear out. Also hope this means we get 1 or 2 players to feel the void. Noticed we have sold or selling 2 strikers in this clearout. Wonder if he will stick with just Giroud and Welbeck or get another in.
Well we have our 1st signing, lets hope for 2-3 more.......COYG
So 6 players being shifted out

Not right if we sell Ospina. Would feel bad about it.

I agree with these sentiments but the logic here is that Cech is starting now and Ospina will not be content with a place on the bench.

Flamini should definitely leave and Jenkinson should only go on loan and fight it out with Bellerin for that spot when Debuchy is too old. Two more loan spells for him prefferably at West Ham again.
Campbell should leave for his own sake though.

Without wanting to use that played one-worded question, where did this list come from?

I'd add Rosicky to that list too. As good as he can be at times I feel like we really don't need him. Especially if we get another CM

Of the players mentioned, (Ospina, Podolski, Campbell, Flamini, Jenkinson and Sanogo) only Opsina and Flamini (just) made any noteworthy contribution to the team last season.
History shows AW’s reluctance to destabilise the squad too much during one window, however Ospina now appears to be surplus to requirements, and if retained, Flamini will have little involvement.

Ospina going and Szczesny staying is the best possible result for us imo.
Safe to say Cech is better than both of them right now and probably will be for at least a few more years. Woj has already said he's happy to stay and fight for a place and learn from Cech, whereas Ospina probably thinks he should be #1. Even if Ospina was happy to stay a year under Cech, sooner or later he's gonna lose patience, whereas Woj has been with the club a long time and is likely to feel more obliged to try to see it out and be the main man in the future.
Also, for me Szczesny arguably has more potential than Ospina even if he's behind him right now, if for no other reason than his superior physical attributes (basically he's taller). He is a good 'keeper he just needs to sort his attitude and focus out. Hopefully Cech is the perfect role model.
Don't get me wrong, Ospina has done nothing wrong in his time here, but if one has to go I'd rather it were him.

Loan out Szez and keep Ospina as no2. You never know he could win his place back as number1.

Realistically that just gives us the same problem in a year's time when Chez finishes his loan.
