The one song that really makes the hair on the back of my neck stand on end, much more than “You’ll Never walk alone", is “The fields of Anfield Road". The thing is, people say we’re a history club and yet one of our most powerful songs is about players from 30 years ago.
Since then, we’ve had a hell of a lot of fantastic players, most of them with brilliant songs of their own, one one of my favourites at the time Riise’s.
We need another team enspiring song and I wish I was able to think of one. I don’t know, maybe something based on something like “Men Of Harlech, (Anfield).
Or, would you go for something based on the Zulu chants and the spear/shield drum beat.

If we just act like he's pulled his groin again for all of next season, we can act like he hasn't left.

The new Sturridge song is class. I was leading all the lads in the park before the Palace game who didn't know anything but the chorus. Was a proud moment
