Rovers sign Chaplow

Sorry, Southampton not Portsmouth.

As I said on the SOD thread he certainly looked an effective midfielder with Southampton and PNE, but that was a year or two ago. He could still be useful.

Hey Donaldo, go to the Free Press website they have a vidoe of Chaplow from his Southampton days to last year at Millwall. Still looks a good signing.

Kin ell yankee, you are wasting your time if you are trying to get donaldo (the man who is more negative than an undeveloped roll of 35mm film) to see anything positive in the signing of a Chaplow.
He has already said on another thread that Chaplow WAS a good player.

Mr Negative has also gone on record as saying that two of our previous three signings are no better than what we had last season.

For f o o ks sake, get a life donaldo, try to get away from that big cloud that hovers over you.

Even BVZ has got in on the act by saying "we have signed a centre back......................from Blackpool" and by the nature of the post he is already denouncing him.

These lads haven't even kicked a ball for us yet and already people are having a pop.

I'll be honest Hound, I am very pleased with the signings so far, I did think we would have had more as PD said they were all lined up, but at least as has been said on VSC we haven't had all the speculation about players and others at training on trial. Things have been kept close to the chest.

On a personal note, I am in remission from the cancer, how long that will last is questionable as my Doctor says once it returns that will be it. I hope I get a reasonable amount of time and may, I say, may, try and get over this Autumn. As bally says it's in somebody else's hands.

As for Donaldo, please don't try to pi55 him off, if he is negative he feels he is justified and to be honest I enjoy reading his point of view, and please Donaldo, don't let Hound pi55 you off like before.

You can't rush the signings NY.
Don't forget that players will be talking to other clubs as well.
Credit where it is due I think, the club have made four good signings and I have no doubt that more will follow.
Also any shortfalls can be covered by loans and that will happen also.
As for do also, well if he wants to be the most negative fan the Rovers have ever had then I have the right to put my point of view in response.
On the other thing, when Bally said that the man upstairs will decide whether you will get home to Donny it crossed my mind that he was running a travel agents.
