2 very strong sides here today in the top of the table clash, Haak needs the points more than Tino so should be a cracker. I felt that in this game that although Kondogbia and Wanyama were outnumbered in midfield they possess the physicality to overcome the numbers game in the middle which helps him win the numbers game outwide, I fell this is an area to improve on for Tino, if Haak was only playing one up front it would help Tino as his wide CB's could move wider but with 2 up top for Haak his CB's have to stay compact

Tenby v Mandems

-----------Schweinsteiger---Casemiro----------------

-------------------Suarez---------------------------
This is one of those rare Dream League situations where I thought one team was vastly superior to the other. Tenby came up with an interesting variant on the Chile/Bielsa 3-3-3-1 (or 3-3-1-3 depending on who you ask), which is fine as long as you have the right sort of players to play it. Unfortunately I really don’t think they do.
Between a flimsy backline and an attack which was asked to play on the counter despite possession absolutely no pace, they did at least have a solid engine room – but the midfielders in a setup like this need to be able to push wide, and while Jorginho could arguably do this, Saul Niguez was put on the wrong side as a left-footed player. I thought Ramsey would really struggle to get into the game and the home side’s front 4 would be completely isolated, any threat posed by the wingers negated by the fact that Trebs ended up keeping his full backs tucked into a tight back 4.
Trebs, on the other hand, has an excellent side, set up in a system that plays to their strengths. While I did like Nadz’ instruction to have his CBs pull Suarez’s shirt and insult his mum, I didn’t think that would have that much of an overall bearing on the game. I thought the away side were the overwhelming favourites and that is reflected in the slots.
I’ve nothing against the system Nadz used – I’ve given it a go myself in the past – but a massive overhaul of the players on the Tenby books is required before it’s a viable setup, I’m afraid.

Plenty of quality on show here today as Taiwan line up against Hoofend..... Sorry Southend, forgot tippy wasn't manager anymore. Taiwan looking to dominate in the middle and the quality they possess in the midfield should give them the edge on this area, although they will have to be wary of Southend on the break. I just feel in this game the little bit of extra quality and experience of Taiwan should give them the edge overall

A nice match-up this with two teams set-up to play some nice open football, testing my knowledge and my googling skills Both men have an eye for talent it has to be said
I like Leiva's set-up it's not dissimilar to the one I've been using but certainly interpreted differently, as it has less power but bags of pace, even with Veretout holding his hand I'd avoid Sterling at wing back, want his explosive pace further forwards...
I really like Elsie's defence and it has all the key attributes needed to see it functioning as a solid unit, think his middle 3 could certainly help his side get a foot-hold in the game, but would need to be wary of Leiva's pace on the break
Anyway I thought it was always going to be a fairly even match-up, but it's not for me to decide, the Randomizer always gets her way

I like this match-up, Fan sticking with the tried and tested 4-3-3 that has served him well all season, whilst Park reverts back to the 4-4-2 diamond and has 2 up top
Park's side is certainly going to be tough for Fan to break down, as good as Neves and Besic are the set-up relies a lot on Pogba to be a machine, and against most side it'll work well for him, but the numbers game is against him today and I think Park holds the middle ground, But it comes at a cost as he's very vulnerable out, especially with gung-ho full backs, so I expect him to find himself in all kinds of trouble there and Gray (fast and tricky) plus Sako (fast and powerful) his defence will have their hands full...I also expect to see Benteke get a bit of joy from balls whipped into the box....That said a narrow away win wouldn't surprise me from Parks massive, massive under-achievers

Basingstoke v Pride
I would prefer Basingstoke more set up to counter attack, rather than dictating the play, I feel it would suit their attackers more and the formation as the midfield three could absorb the pressure. However, I digress. I'd prefer Gibbs and Carvajal to be a little more aggressive when they play, and with Carrillo and Depay they would do well against the Pride full backs, particularly Van Aanholt who isn't at the level required for this game. Moving onto Pride, Pirlo should be the deepest midfielder for me, he's capable of protecting the defense. Blind is more energetic and should be swapped with Pirlo for me. The wingers are obviously top quality and will always add a slot on.
It's the high line for Basingstoke which is really interesting, and would congest the game. I can both teams playing carefully with the ball, they are very similar on paper but Basingstoke have written a better set of tactics. Also, I prefer the Basingstoke CM trio which makes a serious difference in this game. There is a decent probability of a draw for me, so plenty of slots there.

Result:
Basingstoke 0-1 Pride
Arjen Robben (82); assisted by Coke.
Robben scores a late penalty after a blatant dive in the box. Basingstoke had the upper hand in a tense game where it looked like the first goal would settle it, but Pride got the shock win.

It's hard to pinpoint Rex's tactics for this game, it felt more like a diamond than anything in midfield, and the side on paper is decent. It's not got that star quality about it for me, I just feel overall it needs a bit more, both in terms of one or two top class players, and something in the tactics to really take the game.
Welshy has taken his chances by having three defenders, and three midfielders, and then telling the four at the front they have no defensive worries. I can see Lichtsteiner and Monreal having loads of freedom down the wings (it's a shame Rex didn't play with wingers otherwise things would have got messy for Welshy). I just feel that the defense has the chance of getting ripped apart with that one defense-splitting pass. I like Vietto and attackingwise, they look better but the best thing about Rex's team is the defense.
I would have liked both teams do a little more scouting on their opponents.
Hard game to decide, but ...
