white wall once again demonstrating that chelsea fans know virtually nothing about football.

Trying to make a case in order to stick up for his team but fails to take facts into consideration and jumps in with both feet random assumptions. Poor show.

^ b0llocks. If he's good enough he could replace Milners role in the squad and have as successful a time at City as Jimmy, Gareth Barry or Joleon Lescott all did.

If he doesn't fancy the move its a lack of belief in his own talent if he just thinks he'll end up like Rodwell or Sinclair. The game time is there for him, if he is good enough.

"IF"?? Looks like you're not sure he's good enough, and to think you started your comment with "B0llocks"!!

Well I don't have the benefit of watching him every week so I'm not sure if he'd be good enough or not.

Can give an opinion based on some youtube vids if you'd prefer...

I don't think Delph lacks self-belief at all. After all he did agree to go to City in the first place. More he has self-awareness and doesn't actually think he's better than he is, like a lot of players do.

Begovic sits in the bench for Stoke

I've watched Delph a fair amount and for me he isn't good enough for City, although could be decent as backup. I feel you were signing him solely due to homegrown rules, with you obviously having the squad restrictions lifted this season.

We were interested in him as a youngster when he left Leeds too, I think we're in a position where we need to buy to replace the void left by Milner (who incidentally clocked up a lot more minutes last season than other bigger name players in our squad), rather than just to pump up the quota for homegrown players. If he is good enough like I say there is game time to be taken. Personally I'm not fussed either way if we get him.

The only person who'll feel embarresed next May is probably Delph himself.

Fair play to Delph, he wants to play, not sit on the bench and play League Cup matches. Have to respect that. Is he really City quality anyway?
