My sources are telling me that's what the agreed transfer fee is. This will either, in time, prove to be a great move by City or an unmitigated disaster of a signing. No doubt he has potential but 49 million is incredibly steep. Where would you like to see the money reinvested?? Perhaps hijacking the Casillas transfer? Benteke?? I think Pedro would be a bold move if Liverpool were to win his signature. Great little player.

Finishing aside, he's a very good player.
However, the fee is ridiculously high.
I don't wish him well. He treated the club and the fans with contempt.
The important thing now is to bring the right players. We've made a good start in this regard already imo. However a striker now is paramount.
