Why would people hope Valdes has an injury meaning he misses the whole tour. Surely we hope his injuries are finished and he will be fit to play every game

No one wants a player to be injured. Just that him being injured would be a better reason him missing the tour for us than because he is about to move to another club.

Exactly, 1982. If De Gea does go I actually want him to be number one for a season.

^ This. I thought it was quite obvious this was what was meant. Nobody wants any of our players to be injured for the hell of it!

I also believe LVG might not sign a CB. It kind of makes sense because Rojo, Smalling and Jones are probably 7/10s. None of them outstanding, but all 3 are very capable when fit.

So unless we can get an 8+, why bother signing a new CB right? And let's face it, there aren't many top CBs out there these days

Hummels has said he's staying, Ramos was never realistic and Otamendi has a buyout clause close to 50mil or something ridiculous like that

Because our cb's can't seem to stay fit and Evans is likely off.

I think we will get a CB. Firstly those 3 aren't enough and secondly all 3 are injury prone.

I'd be happy with those 3 plus 1 more such as Otamendi, with McNair and Blackett if we really need them.

Hopefully Evans is sold.

3 CBs are not enough to compete in 4 competitions.

Evans needs to be replaced which should not be difficult as he is not even a 7/10.

We will get another CB. You dont have a rejected bid for Ramos then think "You know what, we don't need one now"
if United cannot get Ramos, I bet there is a back up option like Otamendi or someone else
