as to my last article http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/30418 I believed that this is a signing that looked very likely to happen everything just pointed at it being a possible deal.

Chelsea insists Alvaro Pereira
Hiring Alvaro Pereira Chelsea will be closed until tomorrow, the day that the Uruguayan is expected in London to begin working with Andre Villas-Boas. After the first rejection of a proposal for FC Porto to 22 million, Roman Abramovich decided to hit the value of the termination clause of the Uruguayan, so the dragons will release the player today.
'Stick' is a personal desire to Villas-Boas, who considers it a key player in FC Porto's brilliant campaign last season. The coach convinced the president of Chelsea to raise the bar by the Uruguayan after the British have tried to download from 30 to 22 million the amount payable by side.
Joao Moutinho still matters to the Chelsea manager, but this desire may be postponed if the London club Tottenham can now hire the Croatian midfielder Luka Modric.
many of you will say noo we have van anholt and ryan however I think alvaro perriera is on a completely different leve to these two and he will push ashley cole for the lb position , his versatility will benefit us as he can play lw and even midfield. He has pace , strenth and an excellent crosser of the ball. Ashley cole was the best lb in the world in recent years and although he has made a bad start to the season in my eyes he is still world class on his day but he needs competition !

When you consider Real Madrid paid €27m for Coentrau, who in my opinion is a lot better the Pereira, yet we agree to pay €30m for him, ridicules.

€30m??
W..t..f.
Firstly I would say he's not even worth half of that
And his release clause is €6m below that! Lazy hour journalism from that newspaper
I'd still give Bertrand a chance over spending €30m for a backup for Cole

I´d prefer to see Bertrand given a chance. He looks like the real deal.
