We were always in pole position for 3rd u on the other hand was scrapping for your lives for 4th.

WNM how did you work that one out as Tottenham beat Arsenal and went ahead of you. We most likely were in top 4 longer then Arsenal. We had enough points with 6 games to spare to finish 4th. We could have lost last 6 games 10-0 and still finished 4th.

After 10 games 13 points easy fixture list we had worst start since Ron Atkinson was manager in 1986 but after difficult fixture list and game 32 we had 65 points. That is 2.36 points per game if done for who season would virtually get us to 90 points.

This is meaningless as u struggled to finish 4th
