So Sherwood's first 2 signings have been Richards and Amavi .. Would Lambert ever have gone in for players like this when he was at the club .. I'm not saying we are not going to go through more rocky times before the better, but with Sherwood trying to bring quality to the club it looks a lot brighter for the future ..

Lambert's signings mystified me, in fact his attitude to players in general. In fact, I'm not sure how much he did; he left a lot to Culverhouse. I'd love to know the story behind those two splitting up.
I can never understand why Bowery was signed, or why Bent was never played. Keane said he got on well with Bent and liked his attitude, which is probably the sort of thing which lead to Keane leaving.
Having said that, for whatever reason Lambert did some good signings amidst the dross. But I'm not sure that paying a fair amount for young talented players was on his radar.
