I am generally happy with the direction Tim is taking us but his keeper policy mystifies me too. We had 2 keepers who were of a decent standard. Guzan had a bad patch but every keeper does at some point. Bearing in mind all the areas we need to strengthen why put us in the position where we have to use funds to buy a keeper when we has 2 good ones? Difficult to imagine finding a keeper who is better than we already had.

Guzan was indeed our player of the season 2 years ago, and kept us up. But last season he wasn't so good. Too many poor decision liking rushing out for a ball he had no hope of getting. Maybe it was just a blip.

But Sherwood will probably go by what Tony Parks says. And if Parks says we need somebody better then Brad will be off. There was clearly something about his play that led to Given taking over, question is how seriously Sherwood views it?

Not sure yet that Brad is actually up for sale. We'll see.
