Newcastle could well have a decent season.

They were a bit unlucky with injuries last season, especially Siem De Jong.

On paper they have a very decent first 11 and could challenge the top 8.

Winjaldum was the next big thing when he was younger and could end up a great signing. Mitrovic looks a very good signing too. Porto were sniffing around and they always buy well

Not when you see the back five.

Janmaat is a good player, Krul is a good keeper.

Agreed the centre halves are mediocre and nobody at left back to speak of.

Krul's not very good. Janmaat is the only good player in the back five.

They need huge changes at the back this summer or they'll battle relegation again.

Krul is fine top 10 side.

They won't be near relegation this season IMO.

The bottom 6 will be the newly promoted clubs plus Sunderland, Villa and Leicester.

If they don't sort their defence out I think they could.

I think they'll be mid table not threatening either end of the table to seriously, which would be progress from last year.
