Remember when PSN got hacked and we were all given 2 games for free?
One of them being Wipeout HD, which I chose alongside something else (Infamous I think?).
I never knew how brilliant these games were, what an idiot I am!
Loved to pre drink with mates before town playing this game, has an awesome soundtrack and a really fun fast paced arcade racer.
Shame Sony shut down the dev that made this and if another of these games were ever to be made I'd definitely be picking it up! The closest thing to it that's supposedly coming out this year is this..

Nothing can beat the PS1 version of wipeout. Mainly because of the soundtrack

I quite enjoyed WipEout but I could never properly get into it. I got sick of trashing my craft all the time and having to recharge my energy every lap! The games certainly had good soundtracks though.
To be honest, I was more of a Rollcage man myself.

BOOOM ... yeah wipeout was good ... F-Zero like Ivan said was the bollox !! loved that game one of the first games that got me into any sorta racer
