He's said it would be beneficial but neither set of fans are keen so therefore a no go. So simplistic question if cost say £350 mill, would you rather we incurred that debt to put us in a similar positon to Arsenal or ground share and say £150 mill kitty to spend on players.

Who said anything about it plunging us into debt? The owners may have the money. FSG's own funds coupled with naming rights and other sponsorship may mean we don't need to lend. Don't forget, they bought the club for less than half price, which makes Liverpool FC very investable for them. They could probably sell us on now for a decent profit.

I wonder about namings rights - something like the Brittania stadium is OK, and the Emirates stadium is just about passable - but isn't Newcastle's stadium now called something like the 'Sports Direct at St. James Park' stadium or something stupid like that?
What if Canestan thrush cream came in and offered us £350M for the naming rights? Would we be prepared to sell our souls for that?
Cue lots of 'because it's full of irritating c*nts' jokes...

thing is he wont go for a 60 k capacity stadium as its only 15 k increase which relieved me i can relax now as ive been saying that all along, all that money for a 15 k increase was insane.
if you go by our 70 k + season ticket waiting list im sure every1 agrees 15 k is just not enough.... especially for 300 million
the waiting list will grow too if people think theyve got more a chance due to more seats.
