Not at all sure about Lua Lua, he has never scored a ton of goals wherever he has been. Lowe on the other hand has been prolific for the last two seasons with Bury, but like Alf has only performed at lower levels than league one. He has started well this season with four league goals so far, so maybe he would be a good bet for a two year contract.

Someone told me today than MM is currently in negotiation to sell us to a Russian. Anyone know if there's any truth in this or is it just a wind up?

Ozzie, that rumour was posted on here at the back end of last week, no idea if it is true or not. I suppose at the end of the day if MM got the right offer, got his money back and made a few pounds in the process, then he might accept. I would be surprised though if it was true.

To add as well, in some way I hope its right, it might explain MMs reluctance to part with any money on decent players.

But on the other hand, I am not sure my heart is yet capable of going through the whole takeover thing again so soon after the last one!!!

That's what occurred to me St Charles, the reluctance to part with money bit. It does add some credibility to the rumour.

I just don't see anyone coming in and offering MM enough to sell the club. Thus far, he's probably invested something in the region of 9m, I can't see anyone coming and offering that for a mid table league 1 club.
