Ilori has played 33 first class games in his life. I'm not sure why people think he is the answer tbh.

Also on pre-season games they will quite often have a training session before the game to double up on the fitness which is why performances are lack lustre.

I don't get all this Ilori love. At 22 you'd like to think that even during his loan spells he might've been able to nail down a starting position. If he hasn't made the break through now, espcially with our own defensive woes of the last few years, it's hard to think he's going to feature much this season.

Ilori is well down the pecking order.

He can't stay fit enough for long enough to get into contention, and will probably end up leaving us having never played a proper game.

Ibe's goal was just a normal goal, you're all making it out to be something special.
