Ladies and gentlepeople’s welcome to the critically acclaimed Hungarian Grand Prix race thread brought to you by the Mark Twain of the motorsport board. After a cracking, race in Silverstone we are in Hungary this weekend, the next race prior to the summer holiday. 3 whole weeks without Formula 1. Thankfully football is back soon!
It generally is boiling hot at this race so anticipate a shake- up on the grid. Overtaking is also notoriously difficult for some, so do not expect a lot from the finger
As usual you can find out all the cool stuff from www.formula1.com, can’t be bothered to copy and paste today.

Just heard Nico wanted to be on the same tyre as Lewis behind him, instead of thinking of Vettel ahead.

Chelsea, I think you've just captured what was wrong with Rosberg today. Not in it to win it.

Suspect If the Mercs had ahead into the first corner, they would have pulled away from Ferrari.

If the ferraris can be this competitive for the second half of the season, what a finale we could have.

Indeed
In all this we have forgotten Verstappen in 4th place

Very happy to see McLaren grabbing a 5th place, lets just hope this upgrade for Spa is as big as they say it will be. They will need it for there and Monza.
Great job by Seb. I thought Hulk, Verstappen, Kvyat and Ricciardo were all very good today too.
Nico threw this race away today, he would have won (undeservedly I might add) easily if he had put options on. I thought he was to blame for the incident too, but no need for a penalty as it cost him so badly anyway. Poor race from Lewis, its a good job he had such great pace to recover for a few points after all his mistakes.
Enjoyable race.

Indeed, hope all the folk whining stop. You have great races, you have poor races, entertainment wise every single season

Had it been Hamilton I'm pretty sure he would have still been penalised, probably 5 place grid drop at Spa.
Oh, no, that would be HAMILTON, 10 place grid drop.
