The 4th choice winger from Manchester United is now subject to a £40m bid from their noisy neighbours.
It's been said that the Cheshire home next to compatriot, Sergio Aguero, is on the rental market and di Maria is considering moving to a part of the world adorned by Premier League footballers and fans alike.
With di Maria and Sterling on the wings for Manuel Pellegrini's team this season, Manchester City have suddenly become 1/7 favourites with bookmaker Paddy Power, to lift the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions Leagues. As for the League Cup, "Arsenal still remain clear favourites at 2/1 after their cup successes over the past 2 seasons" claimed CEO Paddy Power.
When asked about Arsenal's chances of a Premier League trophy, Paddy wasn't able to provide an answer due to his hysterical laughter. When asked about Liverpool, managed by Brenda (sic) Rogers, Paddy's secretary dialled 999 under the impression that Paddy had somehow laughed himself into a fit.
