Richards was a top talent moons ago but he never kicked on and has been ravaged by injury.

Maybe Richards wanted to play every week and so Liverpool wasn't an option for him.

Either way lets not start pretending that Liverpool don't need to take punts in the transfer market, because they have been doing for years.

I would have kept faith in Wisdom.

Sure, he's raw but in time, he could have been a very good, young full back.
