Calm down and wait for the piccy!

With all of the exuberance around potential signings, to date none have been finalised. We are now only six days from the first game - time to panic yet?

Reports in the foreign press suggest that Aranguiz understandably wants Bayer Leverkusen and Inler would rather stay at Napoli. Which leaves Kante - whose lack of commitment to the move must be a serious concern.

It seems that whilst we are being commendably ambitious, we could get caught with our pants down! Or am I being a typically pessimistic Leicester supporter? A piccy with a player wearing the shirt may allay my increasing concerns.

Here's a shout - former FIFA world player of the year, World Cup winner, top draw star, great midfielder and at only 33 years old still some mileage in the tank - Kaka !

He is currently playing for Orlando City in the MLS and a chance to play in the Premiership may well appeal to him.

Zorro, his wages alone would probably bankrupt the club! Not a chance I'm afraid and he's not going to swap life in the states for Leicester. At this stage in his career he doesn't care about the premier league, that's why he's in the MLS

BS how many players do you think we need to sign?

He's on around £86,000 per week at Orlando which in premier league terms is not massive. Just imagine the world wide marketing potential for our owners.

£86k a week (£4.5m a year) would be easily double what Cambiasso was on and that's before that figure needs to be inflated to compensate for the top rate of tax in the UK. In any case, he wouldn't even entertain it

Arro, I think we need 2 more assuming we get Kante. An experienced midfielder to plug the Cambiasso gap and a central defender

Assuming Benalaoune and Kante sign, I'd be pretty happy starting the season with the squad we've got. I agree that we should go for Huddlestone though, imagine him fit.

I think Drinky and King alongside Kante would be good and have Hammond to come on and tighten things up. If they stay fit we might not need anyone else until January when maybe we'll have more chance of signing the experience we need to get us through the second half of the season. James will also be back then.

Kante won more tackles and had more assists than Cambiasso last season 😉

Kante I think is a great signing, but I think he will need time to adjust. He may have won more tackles than Cambiasso but that was in Ligue 1. Prem is much tougher, more physical and he will have to adapt to that. Even Cambiasso had to.

I don't think it will be a disaster if we just start the season with Kante and Bakary Kone as new additions for example, but I do think we need a leader in midfield.

Yeah I hadn't really thought about his bedding in period, which is dumb because it's why I think Villa and West Ham will struggle. Both signed loads of new players but none have played in the PL before and who knows how long it will take for them all to settle in and gel together.

I think Sherwood will be gone by Christmas, I think they'll be poor and they've not replaced Benteke and he's the only reason they stayed up.

I'm sure we'll sign someone good enough.

Ah Up Arro is AV going to be your WBA this season mate?

We defo in my opinion need two midfielders and ideally one who is already up to Premier league speed.
As the man said until we see the picture nothing is done

No Nev because they don't have West Brom fans 😉
