went down to see the spurs youngsters yesterday at stevenage, Have to say was very impressed with what i saw, defo got a few gems coming through imo. Stevenage were very physical and some of there old pros clearly did not like our young p[layers passing rings round them and left a few on them. Our young left winger Nathan oduwa was ripping the right back apart (ex spur charlie lee) and making him look a little silly, really bad challenge on him and it did not look good. Other than Oduwa who for when he was on looked a real talent, the 2 stand out players for me were c c vickers and Veljkovic, both looked a cut above the rest to me and vickers is going to go on and be a hell of a player. As i was saying earlier stevenage were overly physical but vickers more than stood up to this and also left a few of them, almost protecting the other players. Veijkovic oozes real class, made the game look really simple and was the standout player for me. Also give a mention to the young Belgium guy Azzaoui, who looks like a talent also, good balance and looks a player, walker peters also did well and imo has a future at the club. Overall a good day, good to see Teddy getting a chance in management and our young lads look really good.

OP
I have to say I was also impressed with all the youngsters that played against the MLS as well. Spurs are now starting to really churn out the goods, aided I suspect by their excellent training ground and facilities. I think youngsters now know that if they are good enough they will be given the chance to shine at WHL. The future is looking very, very bright.

could not really see if he was unconscious or not but the game did stop for about 7/8 mins, was a horrible challenge and you could see it coming. He was making the ex spurs man charlie lee look a right donkey and was being a bit cocky to (good to see in a winger i think). Good thing was vickers absolutely smashed one of their centre forwards the next chance he got, showed he has a bit about him

Gutted I missed it , I sent my brother in law who reported back nothing because he did not recognise the players...brilliant!
Oduwa I would suggest will be backup to Kane to start the season. (Well providing we do not use Ade which I don't think we will) Can play up top and is bang in form.
How good is CCV mate? He will only get better although I do think Maghoma will be the better centre back providing he can steer clear of the niggling injuries. Both beasts of centre backs. I expect in two years these two to be the starting pair for us. Both tied down on long term contracts.
