Di Maria betrayal

Saw this article and not sure how reliable they are but thought i'd see what you guys think.

http://www.theunitedpages.com/exclusive-angel-wrangle/

Basically says Di Maria has been fûcking about since more or less after he signed..

Here's a few bullet points from the article

Di Maria has been angling for a move to back to Real Madrid or Barcelona. This started before the burglary at his home.

United found out about this from representatives of those clubs.

Di Maria’s behaviour has been disruptive at best and this is not the first time he has gone AWOL whilst at United.

After one game last season he left the ground without permission and did not attend an arranged engagement.

He has refused to play in certain games.

He has done his best to unsettle Marcus Rojo and also encourage him to seek a move away from United.

The last point pîssed me off the most..

Thoughts?

seems like a lot of nonsense, don't think LVG would be the type to keep quiet about stuff like that.

a better conspiracy theory would be to blame it all on Jorge Mendes... seeing as we're pretty much selling off all his clients on our books... claim he's moody over Falcao not signing or summat

Sounds like a toad.

Hmmm I'm not so sure about that. It can only weaken your hand in negotiations if you make it obvious that you don't want to keep a player. A costly move when you consider Di Maria's fee. Not too costly with Valdes, who has signed on a free.

I am going to put this out there just so that some of you can understand how contract negotiations work.

ADM was a willing participant in signing for United. He did not have to.

You can sign a contract reluctantly though.

You can sign it knowing that in your heart of hearts you'd rather be going to Paris.

Exactly Jalisco

For someone on the wrong side of 80, VC can be quite naive.

...........

But there is still nothing forcing you to.

Real Madrid were not going to use him. So the choice was staying and not paying or going and playing.

You even used the operative word yourself.

‘DI MARIA JOINING BIGGER CLUB’

Thiago Silva believes Angel Di Maria will be making a step up when he leaves Manchester United for Paris Saint Germain.

Di Maria will undergo a medical in Qatar today after PSG agreed a fee of £44.5million to sign the Argentina winger from Manchester United.

And Silva believes the Ligue 1 champions now only trail Real Madrid and Barcelona among Europe’s elite clubs, highlighting the capture of Di Maria as evidence of PSG's growing stature.

"People now need to respect PSG as one of the big clubs in Europe," Silva said. "Real Madrid and Barcelona are probably on another level, but after that if you join PSG you are you probably taking a step up."

PSG knocked out Chelsea on their way to the Champions League semi-finals last season, a fact not lost on Silva.

"We went further than any English clubs in Europe last year," he added.

didn't PSG get hammered by Barcelona. Just checked 5-1 on aggregate.
