A new programme showing 90 minutes of highlights from Football League games starts this coming Saturday, 8th August at 9pm on Channel 5. Good news for us fans as we get to see the highlights at a reasonable time instead of stupid-o-clock on the BBC.
The presenters will be Kelly Cates (nee Dalglish) and George Riley and each show will feature coverage of the day's best matches and every goal from all three divisions. On weekends where there are no Championship games the focus will be on League 1 and League 2 matches.
We'll just have to wait and see what the format of the programme will be - hopefully we'll get to see more footy action and less of the punditry and analysis (yawn).
This thread open to all fans of Football League Clubs (and anyone else who might have a passing interest - I could only list 7 clubs on the heading.) Fans of Premiership clubs also welcome.
Keep it sensible guys otherwise Admin will have your guts for garters.
Hope you can make it.

Hi Igor, thanks I'm disappointed, obviously but we have so much positivity at our club at the moment, it's hard not to be optimistic for next season. I'm so proud of what they achieved this season

You go girl.
At least you got beat by a worldly goal, not a mistake from one of your own.
Gonna be the most intriguing championship ever, great to be on board with you again pal

Going to be probably the most competitive championship ever next season. Reckon the teams relegated from the premier league are better than the ones promoted and ditto the teams promoted from league one are better than the ones relegated. Clubs with rich owners and clubs with parachute payments will dominate. Burton, barnsley, Rotherham please probably favourites for the drop. Newcastle favourites for the league. Villa, norwich, Derby, Brighton, Sheffield again? top 6. Anyway nothing to do with me anymore as will be on the goal rush instead next season
