Eurosports live transfer window reported earlier that we've offered 10m euros for him anyone know if theres any truth to it?

I wish it were true. He's quality, Lazio brought him in for around £20million. He's strong and fast, bit like Eduardo was.

Why on Earth do you want Zarate? Your club is already full of small, technical players, shouldnt you be looking for a bit of muscle?
Also, unless he's in the last year of his contract, 10m euros is never going to buy Zarate.

Well if you bid for someone it means you want to sign them, there is no truth in it if we already have park chu-young now.

Yea it doesn't make sense that we would be in for him now we have Park, but logic seems to be alluding Wenger at the moment.

Bidding 10m Euros for Zarate is what Owen Coyle would say 'derisory'. Apparently we are about to offer 12m to Everton for Leighton Baines- no big surprise that we never get our targets as we are in cloud cuckoo land when it comes to transfers.
