i am sure we have all seen the report from the Football League now, along with the statement released by Huddersfield Town.
It hasn't come as a complete shock, but at a time when everyone, including the club and football league, talk about the hardship of the paying fans that attend games both at home and away, surely they would have shown a bit of compassion towards us ?
I think the whole thing stinks to be honest, the fact they are going to be fined £50,000, which coincidentally happens to be the amount they took from the travelling town supporters that day, is more of a smack in the mouth than the FL not offering any compensation to our club.
So, personally i am about £100 for the day down the swanny after tickets, food, parking and fuel- yes it was funny watching Brian come onto the pitch on his mobility scooter, but it all turned rather sour after that.
Their decision will make me think quite hard before forking out another large amount of hard earned cash in future.
REFUND !? YEAH RIGHT !

Its a disgraceful decision but sadly not unexpected. The whole thing stinks to high heaven from Oysten having a role in the Football League when all this was going on and the reasons for decisions are barmy. The trouble is he is going nowhere fast so they are going to do this again as they already have in a pre season friendly.
If a different outcome happens at that point then they open themselves up to all sorts of legal challenges. I bet if the game been against Man Utd and not us then they wouldn't have got off so lightly!
If I were a fan of a team playing Blackpool this season I wouldn't waste my money going to their ground as things stand as you have no idea whether you have wasted your money or not.
The thing is Oysten seems to enjoy being hated so I think the more fuss they make the longer he will stay just to annoy their fans

Not sure what anyone expected, if you look at any club charter it usually says no refunds after halftime.
In fairness to Blackpool FC they should probably send the £50k fine onto the Police force who just stood about doing diddly squat
