So looks like Gnabry will be joining us on loan till January. Bit of an odd loan length by our usual standards, thoughts?
Arsenal fans, what's he like? What can we expect?

One of you were asking earlier. http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/318305
I am glad it is until January. I get the feeling our intention is to get him fit and up to speed for you lot so he can play for us in the second part of the season.
Often compared to the Ox, he also resembles Sterling. We may often overrate our youngsters but I genuinely think this guy is the real deal.

Cheers, for some reason it wasn't showing on my phone <okay>

I think there is an option to extend it until the end of the season

If you can find the highlight of our FA cup game vs Spurs two seasons ago it is worth to watch. It was probably his best game for us.
He had their defence on toast. Couldn't handle him.

You will get a skilful, strong, hardworking, talented youngster but one who has a bit of work to become the finished article.
Missing the last year and a bit leaves a fair few question marks (probably why both teams wanted the January option to end the loan.)
He is a player who wants the ball at his feet, not the fastest (although not slow).
Decent in front of goal.
If he can find his best form I could see him starting for you in the #10 role, and being a vital member of your first XI.
But, like I and others have said, the injury means it is not a certain success

Great move. Gives both clubs a chance to re-assess in January.
I presume if he doesn't impress/you choose not to extend until the end of the season, we will probably loan him out to another PL team should our squad be in a healthy position.
Hope he does well.

@billhowell68: That Serge Gnabry deal will indeed be for 12 months and not til Jan. Great move for player and club. Announced tomorrow #wba

With respect, I can't see that happening, if only because I'd like to think we've already got the vital members of our first XI, especially in attack and midfield. We wouldn't leave that sort of requirement to a 21 year old loanee.
But we'll definitely see how he does.

Done deal! Season long loan. Happy with that!

He is that good. I would be happy with him starting for us if it hadn't been for his injury.

Fair enough, André, we'll see how he gets on.
