We're being heavily linked with Charlie Austin at the moment, £12m plus £3m in add ons apparently. Betting on some sites was suspended last night and it would explain why Roberto was in London yesterday...
I think he'd be a great addition personally as If Lukaku is injured our only other option is Kone which means were basically playing with 10 men.
It also means we could got 2 up top which would be nice to see and he certainly knows where the net is.

Seen this plastered all over FB, although from what I can see no actual source. Just seems like a big rumour. Saying that I hope it's correct would be a good signing for us.

I wish you get him over Spurs. Some might disagree but I honestly think he would be better for Martinez' style than Lukaku?

Austin would not lead the line like Lukaku, offer the runs from deep Lukaku does or be able to add the physical and quality he has.
He is however a different option to Rom and is more of a poacher, likely to play in a little half yard of space.
Better than Rom, no chance....different, yes. If I had to pick one it would be the guy who got 20 goals for us last season while we were struggling
