Surely he was motm hafi with your logic, he had out only shot on goal!

Thought he was decent, Rooney, Depay, Young were all somewhat worse.

To be honest I thought apart from his distribution Romero deserved man of the match and then Smalling who stopped 3 or 4 very dangerous attacks at source.

Mata had a shakey start but recovered well. Controlled play for us at times really well.

Rooney, Depay & Young were all utterly clueless on how to get passed the Spurs backline. We haven't got enough goals in this side for a title challenge.

amazing what different people see. From a seat in the stadium I thought that Mata was one of our better ones.

If you play Mata on the right you need a pacey RB and a pacey B2B as an RCM. Herrera, while not pacey is pretty quick and Darmian is fast. Depay on the other side is also quick. Really don't understand LVG sometimes

Mata had a decent game. Just don't think he should be playing wide.

Young was our best attacking player imo. He wasn't great but he always tried to make something happen. He was the only player who actually tried running at their defence. His final ball is always floaty or otherwise erratic but nobody else looked like creating anything.

Mata was decent. It is amazing people have different perspectives here whilst watching the same game.

I thought Young was frustratingly mediocre. I mean his final ball gets worse each season.

I thought Mata was decent too but all too impotent on the right. Young's final ball is poor but nobody else was even attempting a final ball.

Ideally, I'd like to see Pedro and Memphis wide and either Mata or Herrera central. I think most of us would tbh.
