Hello all, BWFC fans.
On Saturday it showed how bad our defence can be when exposed to world class talent. At times it was embarrassing to watch, and Liverpool could have scored about 8 if they had their shooting boots on.
One man at the helm of this disaster is Zat Knight. The man is an absolute clown. He has cost us on a number of occassions already this year and let's face it, had a mare on Saturday. Luis Suarez tormented him all day and we were lucky not have a penalty awarded against us. I hope this performance proves to Coyle that he is not good enough and hopefully he will see the light in finally dropping him.
Another man that had a disaster was Paul Robinson. I personally don't rate him at all. I know some BWFC fans think he is decent, but how? He was absolutely brutal on Saturday. His passing was shocking at times and as for the passback..horrendous.
Let me hear your thoughts BWFC fans.
Oh, and I haven't got started on Muamba yet...

Robinson spent a lot of the match covering Knight who was out of position and made a few vital blocks.
If Knight is that bad, why does Coyle still play him? we have Wheater who is challenging for the place...
Also I'm sure theres another article on this subject....

Oh, and I haven't got started on Muamba yet
-------------------------------------------------------
Muamba had spent much of the night at his son's bedside after he was admitted with sickness and a fever.
“I had a chat with Fabrice before the game and asked if he was okay to play,” Coyle told The Bolton News after the game.
“There's obviously no doubt that if it's your kid then you'd be duly worried. I thought you could see that early on and that's why I changed it.
“He took a little knock as well but family is important and it's not difficult to see why he wouldn't be affected by that.”

In all honesty I think we all know that Gary Cahill is the only top class defender we really have. I for one don't think Wheater would have done any better against Suarez and co which is why I'm hoping Boyata gets going fast and that Gary stays.
Still, against teams outside the top four or five I believe we'll more than hold our own and that we've been unfortunate with the early fixture list. I mean seriously, Man City the L'Pool then Man U in consecutive league fixtures? Which idiot programmed the algorithm that came up with that little lot?

Whenever I think we have a bad defence, I will watch the Arsenal backline vs Man Utd.

We could have Koscielny and Djourou, no matter what Knight and Robbo do, they never defend as bad as they did against United. The fact is, they will be exposed against the top top teams, against others they will hold their own.

They were made to look bad by much a better team. Same again next week....but they are ok against the lesser teams. They are under seige for most of the game.
Having said that I would give Wheater a run out. Not because of this one game but I think he is better than Knight in general.
