Rondon

Presuming he signs, will £15 million represent good value for a guy who's unproven in the Premier League?

Sorry to be negative but our track record of big money signings is really poor. Who got excited when we signed Ideye for example?

I'm certainly not writing the guy off before he's kicked a ball but i'll definitely be keeping a lid on it. Judging by what i've seen he's certainly not the most skilful or agile striker i've seen.

It does beg the question why we didn't go all out to get Charlie Austin who we've been led to believe is available for the same money!

Very impressed with Rondon's interview, free of the usual pat answers and cliches, and recognises the effort Albion made to get him, and also recognises some of the players already here. Bravo!

Don't expect anything from tonight's game, and as I type that, Toure scores for City.

Yet you were an adult in 1968 when you claimed to have seen Albion win a cup?

"Nice neck of the woods, Josh. We holidayed in Camborne/Hayle a couple of times when I was a kid back in the 70s."

Knew that you would hang yourself some day

Hang myself some day? Really?
Show me where I said I was an adult when I was at Wembley to see Albion win the FA Cup in 1968.
How long have you been saving that misquote to try and catch me out?
And you've actually been following me on Sportsbabble?
You pathetic little man.
I was 12 years old when I first went to Camborne in 1966, I was 14 years old at the FA Cup final in 1968, and I was 16 and then 17 when I again went to Camborne in 1970 and 1971.

You responding to that moron still Aries?
Disappointing night mate but beaten by a much better team. They won't all be that good. Onwards and upwards.

Tonight's result was to be expected, Alouion, even though I harboured hopes of catching City a bit cold. 442 was a bit optimistic. Our midfield isn't really good enough to play 442 against the better teams. We needed two DMFs and three attacking MFs. But as you say, upwards and onwards. We have 37 games to turn our season round!

Yes I fancied a better result and performance than we got and 4 4 2 certainly played into their hands but a result at Watford and we're off and running.

Aries, Alounion, team selection and set-up I'm afraid. As you know, I've never been a Pulis fan - I believe he's been incredibly lucky in the past and I hope that luck doesn't run out with us. I just don't get his obsession with playing players out of their best and natural positions. That, coupled with his famed stubbornness could spell disaster.

Aries, who's this 'stalker' UH who's latched onto you?

He's a bitter Wolves supporter aka Uncle Herbert who wishes he'd been born a Baggies fan, wasn't, and just can't let it go. He's consequently a purveyor of untruths, and hates anyone getting the better of him.
