I'm just reading in between the lines of Wengers post match talk where he says panic buying is not the answer and seems to be defensive on Benzema.
Just wondering if now he wants to prove that without buying we can still win the league. Part of me is glad we lost. I'm not one of these fans who like us to lose to make a point. But now we have lost our 'favourite ' tag has gone. Its something as fans can do without. Too much expected of us and now we can concentrate on each game and not what's expected of us by the media or fans.
I hope we can get Benzema, seems a lot of talk from Spain and Italy regarding him. I do think if he played yesterday we would have won. Different style of play and a bigger boost for the team, plus west ham would have gone into the game wary of him.
I'm just worried that the lose has hampered any possible deal if there was even one at all because of Wenger stubbornness.

WTF are you on about, you were never favourites for anything. Chelsea were and STILL ARE favourites.

1. He's playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world that competes for major honours.
2. The manager has stated the player is going nowhere
3. The club president has stated the player is not for sale
There are 3 reasons. Until it's announced by the club a player is signed or has held talks it's nothing but rumours. Has Benzema come out and expressed any interest in a move to Arsenal?

No idea but he doesn't look like he's much for talking to anyone, let alone press. It wouldn't be the first time we'd heard manager and club deny, deny only to see a deal done. If he wasn't French and Wenger-Baby age then I'd dismiss it outright. Wouldn't surprise me though.
That said, I find the.medical rumour hard to believe as usually when we here about medicals, we've already heard the deal's already done, to be inked once the medical is passed. I'm personally not bothered, I'm not one the "Desperate for Karim" Gooners. If he comes, he comes. If he doesn't then...

To suggest that AW will decide on transfers based on a single game is beyond nonsense.
He has targets and will try and get them, he may get them he may not, he may only get one, but none of this will have Sunday's game taken into account.
