Dwight Gayle

Apparently he is at Ashton Gate negotiating personal terms.

I see Norwich wanted him, but Bristol City have a Bolasie Sell-on clause which they have offered to waive if Gayle comes to them as part of the deal.

Rumour has it that Gayle would prefer to stay in the Prem but Palace are VERY keen on the Bristol City deal and have threatened him with relegation to their U21 side if he doesnt agree.

Interesting ........

I feel sorry for Dwight but things just haven't worked out for him with us (4 or so managers continually prefering others tells a story). He's generally regarded as the best finisher we have but he can't play on his own up front, a system we employ. He's good enough for the 'Prem', just not with us. As for training with the U21's, what are we meant to do if he isn't part of the 25? It's an awkward situation and the City deal suited us as a club but i don't blame Dwight for standing his ground. I've no doubt he'll be leaving us soon but it'll be on his terms which is correct, imo. I wish him all the best.

Suprised you are getting rid of him. He was great at the posh and I liked the goal he scored against Liverpool to make it 3-3.
