Season Tickets

I have heard a few people saying they have to pick up tickets on the day.

Happened to me couple of years ago. Also one year I got it but it didn't work. These are not new problems!

Just got mine last week even though I relocated to the new section. I assumed the delay was due to the safety certificate thing or so I guess.
3 years ago, mine didn't work on the first day either. But the staff collected it and sent me a replacement the following week.
Must say that although not perfect, the staff at the Etihad are doing a great job compared to other grounds in the country.

My big gripe is that I became 65 this month before a ball was even kicked .But as far as City are concerned , I am not 65 enough to get a concession on my season card .BUT they will sell me cup and away tkts at the concession price
Also any over 65 can buy a concession tkt in general sale irrespective of when they had their birthday .
I can understand having a cut off date in the main season card renewal period but can't understand why they cannot give a pro rata refund when you reach 65 .
I know at least one other club that gives the refund.
To stretch the point ,if identical twins were born either side of midnight of 31st July , one would get the concession and one wouldn't
