Only a few weeks back, I was told the importance of extra firepower, wasn't important until the end of the window. The blame for this lay completely at Levy's door, in my eyes! All those that dismissed my claims and told me we were fine. I said losing 8/10 points in the first six games would hamper our season! It will probably happen, as can be clearly seen.
Stoke aren't even as hard to beat as they were a few years ago. We always seemed to be able to open them up. I look forward to telling a few on here to enjoy their humble pie, as even at best 4 points from Leicester and Everton will only leave us on 5 points from August! all you Levy brown nosers. . I can see us being on only 8/12 points come the 5 of October. All due to not spotting our targets early and getting them in and settled. Mark my words. If not, I'll happily eat my hat!
Importance of a good start

Levy has always maintained the best value for money comes at the end of the transfer window.
Trouble is you end up buying from the best of a bad bunch. You may find a gem but at the cost of already 5 points is it really worth it?

You're being too harsh here
Stoke with Arnautovic playing for them is a 100 times better than when he doesn't play for them.
Last week's Stoke's defeat would have been different had the player was playing.
In as far as us, we are still tweaking and it's still early season.
We do lack a backup for Kane and that was obvious when he had to be subbed.
We can't pressurise the player so much in the early parts of the season too.
We have now N'Jie and it will be better the quicker he gets involved.
I agree with Lamela's being pants.
Total waste of space and he would be better playing in the ladies league though even then he would be outmuscled

Ano morespurs that is exactly my point. We realised the players weren't good enough to beat Stoke last season. Albeit a work in progress with many youth players coming through, so we shift deadwood and squad unsettlers and replace them with no one. Whilst teams like Stoke, Swansea etc have improved over the summer and yet some on here believe we have, 'taken the right approach in addressing out defence' or this isn't football manager or 'the talented players aren't easy to find when the real problem has been levy looking to make a few shillings on the outgoings against the incoming ha. Only problem is many have had their rose tinted glasses on looking at Levy for years. All the good things he and ENIC have done for Spurs ie stabilising us in the EPL, training facilities, the stadium that still looks miles away should've been done years ago. He is a I will sort that tomorrow sort of guy and that what really does my head in. His plan b, if all else fails blame the manager and sack him. When will people realise
