Well there are only a few days remaining of the transfer window and we're still awaiting the signing of players with some creativity. Sure I'm delighted Whyte has extended the contracts of a few key men and beefed up the squad but we are still missing a match winner or two. Not saw McKay or Bedoya in action yet so hopefully they may fit this mould to an extent but from what I read they don't sound as though they are 'flair' players.
McCoist clearly believes we need a striker hence the 2.5 mil bid for Goodwillie so if we don't get one now, I'll be pretty miffed. I still feel we need someone creative in midfield to give Davis a hand, i'd hate to think how we'd manage if he gets injured. Left wing is still an area I'd like to see strengthened.
Am I the only one worried that we won't be making many more moves in this window? I can see us maybe getting a cheap striker to top up the squad instead of splashing out on someone that will be a true threat. Starting to wonder where the millions are that Ally was promised as we are now running out of time. Please tell me I'm just being inpatient and we will still pull out a coup or two?!
Show me the money

Don't think you have the money..
Think you might get a couple of loan signings in.
You need to get someone in because,it looks like Celtic are going to open that biscult tin.

I'm starting to worry that you are right Charlie. Seems odd that we make a few big bids (e.g. Goodwille, the defender from Anderlecht and Cuellar) and now the cash appears to have vanished. When he promised these millions there was no mention that it was dependant on Champions League qualification which now appears to be the case. Just hope I'm being impatient...

CL and Europa elimination may have cost Ally any last minute buys...you never know though.

Without Davis we are not a very good team. I hope Bedoya is someone with similar skill and eye for a killer pass but we definitely need a striker. I said last week get Alan Hutton back. Buy or loan.

Kenny Miller for £1million should have been an easy decision for Rangers.

one of the criticisms of the business plan from the previous board was that it was predicated on european incomes.
Well honestly i dont have any sympathy for Ally if he gets no cash. There is no way we should be out of Europe to those two teams. Suck it up ally and get on with it.

Kenny Miller for a million was an EASY decision! Its called dont touch! 3 year deal at £25k plus hefty signing on fee, he's done what exactly at Cardiff? Scored 1 goal great return!

I'd be inclined to agree with henrik on kenny miller. I'd have taken him back in a shot if we could have agreed a reasonable contract.
