That was a great response from the players today after the gutless, complacent performance from last week. Took the game to the oppositon from the get go and although we didn't get our just rewards we were at least up for it today. I am not saying it was a perfect performance but we didn't just show up and think expect to win and forced the issue. I just hope ee don't revert to type in our next home game against the smaller teams. Satisfied.

Just wish Giroud would take greater responsibility for making things happen. Though occasionally effective, far too often his 'trademark' layoffs seem more like passing the buck, rather than anything else.

I agree, although our players always play it in to him and try to make runs off him, so the temptation is always there for him to try something. Now whether they do that cos they know he's going to try it anyway I don't know. Presumably the manager is happy with it and considers it part of our attacking play.
