He has left Cech exposed two games in a row.
or....
Is Cech past it? He seems too slow to react to grass cutters
Worried of Koscielny!

Cech has been underwhelming first two league games. Least I expect the keeper to do is go for full stretch.
As for Kos, he too has had a dissapointing start. He has looked ok so far with normal defensive duties, but not closing down shooters is costing us

Koscielny also blocked cech's view. Cech wouldn't have seen it until quite late on. You would expect that to be blocked, not idea why koscielny didn't. Wasn't exactly fired at his face or anything.

You're the first person I've seen question Cech, two games in!! He was the final piece of the jigsaw two weeks ago
Has Mourinho got himself another mug to mug off? Cech out, Begovic in and a couple of million profit

Put it this way cech is far better that what you've got to offer

£11m for Cech and then buying Begovic for £8m did seem like wenger has been taken for a mug.
Begovic is a very good keeper. Has at least 8 years in him, whereas Cech could maybe have 3.

He was terrible in pre season and terrible against the swans so your comment is invalid

Shinji, maybe not exactly mugged off but the selling of Cech and buying Begovic suited Chelsea far more than it did Wenger and Arsenal.
I think Wenger got excited at buying Cech off Chelsea when Mourinho didn't want him to go to Arsenal.
There are intangible elements that Cech can bring to Arsenal, chelsea tactics and processes etc.. But those won't become apparant for a few months yet.
Cech could retire as goalkeeper coach at Arsenal. He's be a very good one.

It would appear that this season, Kos has decided that any time he sets himself to block a shot. He's got to make sure he's slap bang in the middle of Cech's line of sight to the attacker. Yesterday's goal and the second goal last week both need blaming on Kos. Both times he positions himself directly in Cech's way. He couldn't have blocked thd goalie's sight any better than he does for both goals. Cech a great goalie but even he can save shots he can't see being taken.

No, no he isn't.

Kos is not guaranteed blocking that. Shouldn't turn away from it but he's barely had time to set himself.
Meanwhile Cech watches it glide along the floor for quite a while and still far from it. He looks stiff and old tbh. Very good at the basics which we've lacked for years but imo a GK rated at his standard doesn't concede all 3 he's let in so far
