Does anyone watch teams like Bayern before throwing out these cliches? They don't play 'tiki taka' anything like Pep's Barca did

Credit jose for his trophy haul, he's created a few sides with a mentality to win by attrition, pep on the other hand got his team to an almost untouchable level, playing football so good it demoralised the opposition, one of the best sides ever

And yet Pep hasn't been able to recreate that at Bayern.

He took a truly great Bayern side and turned them into just a good side. If anything Bayern appear to have regressed since Pep took over.

👍

What he did to heynckes Bayern team is a footballing tragedy. That was the best team over last five years imo. It had a perfect balance of pace, power and technique.

Pep systematically dismantled it and introduced tiki taka because that's the only thing he knows. Bayern got progressively weak since he took over

This. A footballing tragedy I tell you.

It's a very interesting one because Pep certainly hasn't improved Bayern and their style of play was much more recognisable and identifiable under Heynckes than it's been under Pep.

I wonder what Bayern fans think. Especially with the talk of Muller apparently wanting to go to United as well. They can't be too happy right now under Pep.

Indeed Superb.

Sometimes fixing something that is not broken is a very bad idea.

Luckily for Bayern they didn't have any competition in the Bundesliga last season.

A lot of their players were broken, to be fair. Have you seen how many injuries they've had since he's been there? Makes us and Arsenal look like Chelsea.

Jose the famous puppet translator, not an actual manager.

Best manager in the world doing what every manager does if he is allowed, spend his way out of trouble. Players out of form? Spend. Tactics not working? Spend. Adapt your tactics? Nah, spend. Bring in promising youth players? Nah, spend.

Jo$e technically and literally not a manager.
