Albion-Chelsea

Another big game this weekend as Albion take on the champions. Difficult start. No goals, one point and two unconvincing displays. Pulis is yet to find the right formula. Could surely do with ringing the changes for this one.

Chelsea meanwhile have endured a shaky start themselves. Mourinho has responded by demanding Roman's chequebook to sigh Barca bench boy Pedro and Abdul Baba Rahman - sounds like some sort of spiritual leader.

Eva Carneiro has been banished from the bench altogether for her misdemeanours. She can sit on my lap though if she likes.

Has Pulis learnt his lesson about two up front?

Gnabry and Rondon to be thrown in?

Is Pulis beginning to come under pressure?

Thoughts about Sunday's game and general whining about tactics/transfers/players here please...

Teix, I largely dismiss the negative views of fans on social media outlets. Most of them just want to make a point - any point - without engaging brain first.
In my view, the time to judge a manager or head coach is when it becomes obvious we are heading in the wrong direction. That means either the Championship or, in our case, not fulfilling our potential in the Premier League.
I can't say I'm happy with some of our signings this summer - the lack of orthodox full backs, and Rondon seems expensive - but most of last summer's signings were a complete disaster. Terry Burton did a lot of damage, I believe.
We need two proper full backs and someone with pace in midfield. It seems Pocognoli and Gamboa are on their way out, and I don't think James McLean is the answer to any problem.
We can gripe and moan, as is our right, but until a better head coach becomes available and actually wants to join Albion, I am more than happy with TP at the helm.

There will be pressure heaped on Pulis by fans (including apologists like me) if performances don't step up. There will be pressure from JP. If we don't sell Saido and get the players we are linked with, JP will have backed Pulis like no other Albion manager.
It's still early days and we will have had a tough start but I am still hopeful of a mid-table finish.

Some fans' expectations are unrealistic, and when they're not met, the head coach must come under pressure?

Pulis will be gone after the defeat at Stoke.

Wasted £50m just to stagnate.

Peace already has a replacement lined up.

Yeah! It's Kenny Jackett.

Desperation stakes at the Moulinex, where Wolves are 17th in the Championship and fans are asking if Jackett's just a League One manager after all.

Uncle. I always find it's better to WUM when your own team is doing well.

Cox, Wolves ARE doing well. They're in the Championship. That's good by their standards.
