We were never going to be able to buy Gardener but it sounds like he may be loaned out again.

Also will be interesting to see the fans reaction to Antonio. Supposedly he is happy as he has been offered a gentleman's agreement for a new deal when we come out of ffp.

Disappointed by his attitude Tuesday though as we could have won that game with him.

He will be going to Derby, me thinks.

My understanding was that we can improve contracts of players who were with us before the embargo was imposed. Thus the Lansbury situation. Therefore, no need for a gentleman's agreement.
However, get the feeling that the rules are made up as they go along and based on regional criteria.

According to Dougie, the club put their foot down with Henri, it was their decision, he still has a way to go on his contract?

I think Henri's agent was just trying to milk a bit more out of Fawaz, and Antonio and his agent were on the same train. All a bit sad, but predictable.

I disagree, I think Lansbury saw a move to Burnley as a step towards getting promotion, not just a way of getting more money.

Antonio is probably frustrated that we are struggling and will finish nowhere again this season, and he has opportunities to move on and upwards in his career too.

You can't blame either of them for wanting success, and looking away from Forest to achieve it.

Twitter says West Ham are now interested in Antonio. £5 million (not enough) + Matt Jarvis.
