It seems to be in vogue at the moment for clubs to ave a director of football on the payroll. I would like to see my club go back to the old fashioned mode of aving a coach and a manager. They both ave specific jobs. The coach takes care of fitness and tactics. The manager motivates and galvanizes the players. So, what is left for a director of football to do, except get in the way ? Derby are in a similar position to us in that they ave a coach as a manager.
