I think he moved from a LB - LM - LW - RW, but was there a step in between where he played as a No. 10?
Real look to be using him in this position for the season, something which is tactically interesting. I don't personally think they've used him very well in the last year, Bale often dropping back as a RM to defend in a 4-4-2, when Ronaldo was pushed up front.
I think a free No. 10 role would be better for Bale's scoring record, and to please the Real mob, what do Spurs fans think ?

He played number ten for Spurs also and preformed better there.

Yeah the season he left us he played in the middle behind the striker for over half a season and absolutely killed it. We were a one man team
