Fair enough. if it is that front three then its the win we are going for.

Think we will see Ings make his debut tomorrow, may well be from a losing position in the second half but hopefully not.

Apparently Lucas will start tomorrow then fly to Turkey for his Besiktas move on Tuesday.
It's a very solid, safe, line up from Liverpool. 4-3-3, workmanlike midfield, midfielders on the wing, no special effects.
I expect Arsenal to go:
Cech; Monreal, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Bellerin; Cazorla, Coquelin; Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey; Giroud
With Ox, Walcott etc on the bench.

I thought Moreno looked very good coming on for Henderson last game.

Lucas is not going anywhere

Actually pretty happy with that team if true, but would prefer Sakho to Lovren.
The team lacks pace though without Ibe. Him and Lallana have both been average so far but Ibe's pace could be a real threat to Monreal. But could also be useful having him come on against tired legs like Moreno did last week.

So, Lucas starts because it's clear in the end that we actually do need a defensive midfielder for certain games, and then he's sold straight after.
Sounds like usual Brendan logic!

If Lucas starts then BR needs shooting. He's had zero minutes then is expected to come in at the Emirates and perform straight away. Stupid logic so will wait and see but can't see it myself. If i was selecting the team he probably would start too but he would also have had some minutes under his belt.

To be fair Lucas is unhappy and wants regular first team football which he won't get here because he's most effective when we're not looking to dominate possession.
Away to Arsenal is probably one of the only games all season where we might not look to do that so I can see some logic in it. Whether he's match fit is another question but I think he'll be able to handle it.

Not a big fan of lucas, but i think we may well need him for this game, if he does go its obvious we need a replacement
