A much better performance yesterday though we could hardly get any worse.
Pulis has finally woken up to the fact we need to start with 2 wingers though I remain unconvinced that MacClean should be one of them. McManaman, on the other hand, was fantastic. He surely deserves a run in the team.
Defensively we looked shaky with a lot of Chelsea's attacks coming from our errors rather than them being particularly classy.
Rondon looks a handful and held it up well. Gnabry looked very lively when he came on too.
Fingers crossed we have a productive week in the transfer market!
Our season starts at Stoke!

Oh and I forgot Morrison. It seemed like the penalty miss gave him a kick up the backside as he was outstanding after that! Keep it up Mozza!

Gnabry seemed a bit over excited and on a one man mission . Expect him to calm down and improve.

We need to get points, and the quickest to get points is to win games, and the best way to win games is to attack.

I think he was overly keen to make an impact which is no bad thing. It shows he's hungry and i'm optimistic about his chances of making an impact with us this season!

Cox, it was a subtle note to TP to get him away from thinking of just aiming for a point in away games!

Our season will start at Stoke?
Really ? One of our worst bogey teams and where the style of football has changed so dramatically since they got rid of Pulis only for us to inherit his hoofball.
We will stay bottom of the league and get beaten away for the first time this season by a footballing club we used to despise in Pulis' day.

'Our season starts' as in 'we've got not more excuses'.
Stoke aren't Man City or Chelsea so a poor performance can't be excused anymore.
I think the whole 'bogey team' think is superstitious nonsense. Weren't we supposed to be Chelsea's bogey team?
Either way, if Tony sets us up negatively and we lose, he'll start to come under a bit of pressure in my opinion.

We've only lost at the Brittania once in the last 5 seasons. Not our bogey ground

Coxie, I will be there on a corpo hospitality job so will report back later.
Maybe, just maybe, with it being Pulis' first time back at the Brit, might he follow an attacking policy with flowing football at pace with SB getting two and Rondon two ?
Just seen a pig fly past my study window !
