Agree with Mudd here. He is better than Giroud no doubt, but his numbers suggest hes not head and shoulders above Giroud. Last 3 seasons in the league; Benezema - 11,17,15. Giroud - 11, 16, 14 and with similar apps record.

And yes, as many posters here have pointed out, he would never leave RM to come to us of his own volition

Neymar would, more than likely, fail.

Bale would probably succeed.

It has little, or nothing, to do with their relative merits/demerits as players, but still has a lot to do with things such as the way they have experienced the game vis-a-vis coaching difference , the differing structures of league football in different parts of the world, United's club 'culture' (in shorthand terms) etc.
