Another transfer window let down

Why can't wenger do the needful and ensure the glaring holes in the team are plugged. For years we screamed for a world class goalie and finally got one. In that same breath we all knew that a DM and striker will be the only pieces of the puzzles left to secure. Why couldn't wenger just get these players in? Why did he let players like Vidal(who can put in a shift in DM), Schneiderlin, Jackson Martinez, dzeko, llorente, that chap from Monaco who moved to inter slip through his fingers? Is he so happy to keep getting abused by the fans that his stubbornness will not allow him take his head out of his azz? Doesn't he realise that as the most experienced manager in the EPL he should be aiming to win it rather than settle for CL positions? Why does he have such deluded blind faith in ozil, Ramsey, cazorla and giroud that he's happy starting them week in week out if when they do feck all in matches?

I can't think of many top strikers we could realistically get now. If we can't get a striker now we have to get a DM, and probably CB. If we get another DM it opens us up to be able to play a mix of Giroud, Walcott, ox and Sanchez. We could implement a similar style to city, with ozil or cazorla playing a similar role to silva.

We can't do that now because we'd get swamped in midfield, and the defense would be exposed. I think playing that system would get goals, and would be more unpredictable and harder to defend against, and hopefully would make up for lack of quality striker.

We've known for years that Giroud as No 1 won't win us the league. Yesterday just pin pointed that again. I'm not cavani biggest fan but he would make us challenge.

We should just buy Wanyama and be done with it.

Wanyama-Coquelin
Ox-Cazorla-Sanchez
Walcott

Doesn't the window end next Tuesday not today?

Coq has shown he is a more than a capable holding player.

Arteta, is not ideal but barring injury to Coq I can’t see him starting more than a dozen games this season. Flamini even fewer.

In regard to a CF, AW pretty much confirmed his interest after stating the deal to sign Benzema was now dead. Therefore reasonable to conclude that he is after a CF. Although there are not many about who fit the bill.

If we do sign a CF I have a feeling it will be a bit more leftfield. In the same way when we signed Eduardo.

Still time. Do feel we need a couple more like most think but Wenger won't buy unless we get a chance at a special player like Ozil or Sanchez over the past couple of years.

My guess is we'll get - N. O'Body

That's hardly fair - you've probably never even seen him in nets.
