Wenger likes losing

It must be some kind of fetish.

Is there any other reason why he would leave us short, for the god knows how many consecutive season running? We are going into the season with Giroud as our first choice striker, for the 4th season in a row. I like Giroud and it's not his fault he ain't elite, but Wenger obviously thinks he's good enough to win us the Prem and the CL? Either that or he likes losing - that is not my opinion, it's on paper.

If you want to win, why would players like Chambers and Bellerin, who aren't good enough for any top half Prem team, be in your squad?

walcott a striker.....he's been at the club a decade and don't look like he could strike matches let along play up front.

If he was at any other club we'd be laughing at him....sad

Walcott can't play as a #9. His movement from central areas isn't good, he can't play with his back to goal, hold the ball up, link up, offers zero physical presence, isn't creative etc etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So WBA was a nothing game. When the game before WBA beat Chelsea? Ok lets discount it. I suppose the Cup final had no pressure on it? And Walcott scored the 1st goal that precipitated the collapse. That doesn't count because Villa were useless. Off course teams are very useless when they lose.

So Chelsea game doesn't count because an early ball that found Oxo in space where that he could turn and score was something all strikers can do. Of course we couldn't do that yesterday or against West Ham at home.

The point is if it doesn't work what do we lose? Giroud isn't going to win us those games. And do you think Wenger is going to buy that striker most of us have been asking for 3 years?

Can't think of a single PL team Chambers would get into

I can think of 2 he's already gotten into.

Maybe he can get a loan at Everton. He needs games.

Yes, the game before was also a nothing game, Chelsea had the title won...

The pressure was on against Villa, I didn't say otherwise. But Walcott didn't play well in that game. Although you probably think he did, which isn't even remotely surprising considering how much garbage you talk.

The Chelsea game doesn't count what? What the **** are you talking about? Do you think he played well against Chelsea? And do you consider a basic pass out wide an assist?

Giroud has won us plenty of games, let's not rewrite history. He has his flaws and against certain teams he's no good, but overall he brings a lot more than Walcott as a #9. Even yesterday when he didn't play well, he set up the best chance of the game. You think Walcott could've set that chance up for Sanchez, with his back to goal? Nah.

Bellerin is a poor defender, but has pace and offers width and the occasional good cross going forward.

I didn't like getting on Girouds back before as he's clearly trying his best, but his game is infuriating me. His insistence on playing one touch flicks because he can't hold or carry the ball is a bit pathetic.

Walcott is not a central striker. Can't play with his back to goal, and offers nothing he can't provide from the wing.

Subbing on theo as striker baffled me last night. Giroud was awful, but he was clearly getting into the game. We were getting in behind Clyne for fun towards the end, one of our shiiiit awful crosses was bound to connect. With theo on we lost that.

what happened to the winning team of Wembly. walcot played both games there and we won the FA cup and charity shield. Therefore the problem seems to lies somewhere
