Heard a rumour from my old man that Davis is being courted by Blackburn with a fee of £4m being banded about, anyone else got something on it?
I'd hate to see him leave, he is the only guile and craft we have in the midfield (young Ness looks good, but question whether he is fit/ready to step up and carry the team).
I have a sinking feeling it might be true given we've bought Bedoya and Edu seems undroppable at the moment. With the potential Fox deal as well are we thinking of playing those 2 in midfield? God forbid.
Anyway, lets get the transfer window closed and see where we are. Oh while I'm being pessimistic I see Jelavic will go as well...

think you kinda answered your own question there pearson. Also, davis has just signed a 5yr deal, so if we were to sell him it would be on our terms. That would be way more than 4m.

I remember when Bazza went there he said it was a footballing ghost town.
He's obviously shown it's more the footballing side of things he's interested in than makin a fast buck. I really don't see him leaving unless a Huttonesque offer was to come in - which I don't see happening
