I have no idea what the line up was, I can vaguely remember that Owen got us a Hattrick. But that's line up is insane and whatever the reason for not buying any good players during that period you have to hand it to ferguson for being able to get that result with those players.

Football is an incredibly complex game but fergusons ability to get that XI to get a result really does show his genius.

Surely we just scored three dodgy penalties in Fergie Time.

Carrick being the lone survivor from that team. Saf bought well there.

That team just sums up why I feel we are now moving in the right direction - and how much work there was that needed to be done to improve the team/squad.
