Levy....

Son Heung-min

Let us be optimistic and assume this guy is actually good [I don't believe a single person on this board knows anything about him by the way], from what I hear he isn't suited to playing up front as the lone striker. If this true, can someone explain the logic behind this signing because I think Poch has played 442 something like three times in over a season?

Also, does anyone actually believe Poch actually asked Levy to sign this player? I doubt Poch even knew who the guy was. Why are we persisting with this bizarre system where the head coach has little or nothing to do with signings? Did Poch ask Levy to sign Stambouli or Fazio? I doubt it, although if he did he should be sacked for this alone.

If we are going to shun the traditional 442 and the width this system brings, then surely you need strikers capable of playing in that lone forward role, no?I think Berinho or Austen are still possibilities but Levy has been extremely poor once again. He seems to be laboring under the illusion that leaving it so late always benefits the buying party. In fact, all that's happened is everyone knows we are completely and utterly desperate. Look at the way West Brom are mugging us off.

Also, playing four games with one striker available is nothing short of a disgrace. This is all because of VDV. That one single last minute success Levy had which he's been trying and failing to replicate since then.

On another point here, we all know strikers are important but any mug knows a quality (and experienced) defensive midfielder will benefit this side immediately. Is it too much to hope we do the bleeding obvious and sign one?

I have been as critical as Poch as almost anyone, but I cannot blame the guy if he being mugged off by his own Chairman. Note the way he's playing down expectations in the press talking about how little we spend.

Put the potatoes in a pan, cover with cold water and bring to the boil. Cook for about 6-7 mins, then drain.
Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan and cook the onion for 3-4 mins

Hold on. What oil? What onion? There's been no mention of any oil or onion.
